Think that such a scene is inviting for a stroll. If so, you'll have some patience, as this image comes from the 'bin', ☺ .

Taken on May, 5th 2017 on one of the fortifications just outside the ancient part of the town of Middelburg, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

You are quite right Cornelis. This image is is very inviting especially when spring has decided to ignore the calendar and is weeks too late to herald its arrival. Very nice shot with beautiful colors.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I really like how it is peeking over the trees SEA. I think Don Quixote would see this as quite the challenge.
Beautiful photo.

I would like to just step right into this scene...so picturesque with the beautiful flowering tree and its' shadow, the charm of the windmill and its' little door peeking through the greenery, the bridge off in the distance, and the lovely weather to top it all off...you are a master at composition and a marvelous capture SEA...faved.

This is wonderful Mr. C!! Spring is sprung evidently:) We have lots of blossoms here as well but they'll be gone in 2 days after the storm that's here drops down the estimated 4-8" rain over the next 36 hours!! Despite our up and coming deluge I'll take the deluge of spring like feelings I get with this very pretty image:):)

I didn't think it could be an early April shot... too much green and blossoms on the trees. Idyllic, C., and easy to suspect it would be a popular place.
