My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
These aren't actually flowers. They are individual Dutch provincial armies marching off to war... or a parade... or a beer-tasting festival. At the top is Zeeland, blue from the blue stripes on its flag, then white for the heavy white field of the flag of Drenthe. Next is purple uniforms from the mixing of the red and blue stripes of North Holland, red helmets (an unfortunate choice for a battlefield) from the half-red flag of Utrecht, and finally pink, derived by the mixing of the red and white checkerboard squares of the Brabant flag. Yeah. That's the ticket. Not flowers at all. Now... where's my beer?

I've several Nikon camera bodies. For taking this image I've used a Nikon D 5300 body. But, in my humble opinion, the choice of the lenses and other equipment is very essential as well. The used lens this time was a Nikon Nikkor AF-S 18-300 mm 1:3.5 - 5.6 G ED VRII. The tripod was a Rollei Fotopro and the RC (Remote Control) device was a Nikon Ml-L3.
