Taken in a forest at the northern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, the Netherlands.
This image has somewhat the appearance of a fall image, but it was taken recently however. The trees are shedding their leaves already because of the extreme drought. Since the begin of June we hadn't any rain shower in this area but relative high temperatures.

Oh my, what a lovely nature scene with all the ingredients, light, shadows, and darkness...really beautiful, SEA, and makes for a superb entry in the current contest...should this be your intention, best of luck...a fave for me.

i love the creative composition, most would have done that down the trail, very nice just in that aspect. nice framing of the shot with the tree as well. good clean work!
