Not accustomed to seeing poppies in the sand so this is quite a unique shot for me and a real beauty too...marvelous composition and clarity and a fave for me.

How very lovely Cornelius ! The poppies are very striking. We usually see lupins in our dunes.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

A lovely and well composed (with the diagonal separation in the image) shot. Great clarity and lighting too Cornelius.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

I don't see naturalized poppies like this either - how lovely a sight!
