The seagoing vessels ('Yang Min Width' on the left and the 'Happy Bee' on the right) on the North Sea near Flushing, Zeeland, The Netherlands, on their way to (HB) and from (YMW) the port of Antwerp, Belgium.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Oh my goodness, now he's really loaded with so many different colour containers - Spectacular shot of course love the action of the waves created by the cargo ship
Ironically, if those shipping containers were Chinese citizens and the ship was the major views at Yellowstone... well... that's what it looks like there. At least half the visitors at the park are Chinese (I recognized the Putonghua Mandarin and Cantonese). As for your photo, C., the same clarity and excellent composition we've come to expect from you. I first thought the Happy Bee was a tanker rather than a container ship, not seeing any in the photo, but further research tells me it's the latter. I do like the multi-colored arrangement of the containers, betting that a head-on cropped view of just them would make for a rather cool screen wallpaper. But I bet you've already shot one like that, right?
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
Hello 'Nik', if you'll check-out the links you'll see that the 'Yang Min Width' is a container ship while the 'Happy Bee' is a Hazard D class tanker. About the 'head-on cropped view', I've provided in the past such an image, in B&W however. I'll consider to upload the colored version later as well.
