This vendor, with the appearance of an old painter/master, don't sell artwork however but just nostalgia.

This image was taken on an outdoors folklore market in Veere, a medieval little town in Zeeland, The Netherlands.

A tad manic to me, hence it's my weekly contribution for Manic Monday.

He looks to have quite a variety of 'Goodies' for sale on his stall!...

This place would be worth a good look around.

Art benefits from nostalgia as art is often a reflection of a memory, of a point in time, of place, and of a human emotion. Isn't nostalgia serving the same master? Mr C, your art often evokes fond memories for me and, I am sure, many others.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I think this is wonderful, the detailing and color of the gentleman is wonderful. That would be a neat place for some extensive browsing.

One could pass some time looking through all this nostalgia SEA.
Reminds me of our "Flea Markets." Well presented as usual.

There is everything there from Old Masters to Marilyn Monroe - what a treasure trove and wonderfully captured with what looks like difficult lighting conditions.
