As you might know, my country is famous for its tulips, but I was surprised to see these tulips already that early in the Spring in a Dutch flower shop.
On closer look, I've discovered (mainly because they weren't kept in the usually with water filled bucket in order to keep them fresh), that these tulips are ornamental wooden ones, probably to provide the tourists with 'tulips' all year long.
To me a tad manic situation however, hence it's my contribution for Manic Monday.
PS: I've decided to wait a while because I prefer to buy the real ones, 😁!

Manic in timing perhaps and a bit of a joke on all of us but a welcome burst of spring color nevertheless and something to look forward to in reality...beautifully crafted and great shot!
