This farmer is pimping the Belgian draft horse (making colorful braids with its mane) as preparation for participating in a 'tilting at the ring' match.
This image was taken on May 18th, 2019 at a farmyard on the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands,

This one could certainly fit in a photojournalism or culture gallery, if we had ether one, and is nice to see how this process works. I had to do a double-take on your post text, though, your word "pimping" having a veeeeeeerrrrrrry different connotation here in the U.S. ;o]

If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
'Nik', as foreigner, I didn't know that 'pimping' in the U.S.A has a very different connotation. If I had known this, I hadn't used this title.
In my country (the Netherlands) this word is only used as a kind of 'slang' to express that the appearance of things or persons has made been more attractive by adding an or some items.
