This photo was taken on the North Sea off the Belgian coast. The Belgian sailors were, to a certain extent, in difficulty because the jib rope (a rope on the underside of the jib that keeps it on tension and determines whether the jib blows out to starboard or port) was broken loose or broken.
Because the skipper managed to maneuver the boat to somewhat quieter water, no external assistance was required.

That yacht has a good speed with the strong wind coming from starboard quarter. Difficult to control in that wind with the jib out of action. Nice action shot Cornelius.

Love the composition with the sailboat in the foreground and all the other ships in the background.
It looks like a busy place SEA.
I enjoyed your narrative and also Raj's. I felt like I was eavesdropping on a couple of Old Sea Dogs.
