This foliage plant was captured by me in a botanical garden. I couldn't find a sign with its name, but I suppose that 's a species of a Begonia Rex.
I won't exclude however that it could be species of a Caladium (bicolor) as well, but I prefer the first option because of the somewhat hairy appearance of the colored huge leaves.
Although it's not a flower, it's still my F² contribution, because of its fine colors.

It may not be a flower but it still a beautiful sight to see on caedes on this Friday. Nice post Cornelius.

You have to love a natural abstract SEA.
I will go with Begonia Rex because it sounds so good and matches the photo.

I like this Mr. C. - very striking - my vote goes to a caladium however as I photographed some very much like this.

This sure looks like a calladium to me...I used to have one and always loved their broad, colorful leaves...great closeup of this one and nice post for FF...it does make a lovely floral abstract.

I don't know what it is called but it truly is beautiful in colours, detail and patterns on the pedals/leaves. I really like this one

Whatever the species, C., your title is perfect, in that these look more like they were painted by a freethinking and free spirited artist, rather than a computer nerd. Luckily I'm both so I can recognize this lovely for what it is... entertaining and soothing at the same time.
