Do the docked boats belong to residents living across the road SEA? It looks like they have posts to secure their boats. A scene someone in my part of the world never gets to see. We just get cars parked along a street. Grand view and composition.
---Do the docked boats belong to residents living across the road SEA?---
Hello Owd Fella Tick (OFT),
I'm not sure for 100%, because I don't live in Utrecht, but compared with a similar situation in my area, I'm quite sure that the boats belong to the residents living across the road. Most of the boats aren't secured, only the cabin door, giving entrance to the interior, is locked by a padlock.

It's wonderful that with the canals everyone can live close to water - I always find it calming - lovely capture on what appears to be a beautiful day Mr. C.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
