The title doesn't reflect the landscape however, but the almost gone gate, 😜 !
Image was taken on July 6th, 2019 at the northern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands too.

I love to find old fencing and old gates. You found a good one here. Ornate and functional. Rusty and appealing.

The old gate still is an eye catcher SEA. The years have given it character. Love the textures of the gate contrasted with the colors of the scene.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
A wonderful shot Mr. C. - the old gate is the draw but the panorama behind with the steeple and windmill add greatly to the scene along with an awesome sky.

The 'almost gone gate' is quite ornate for a farm field...a great find and lovely rural setting...nice one, SEA.

It may have been an overly majestic entrance to a... uhmmm... pasture, some time ago, but it appears the only thing holding it together now is... rust. It's interesting how all the decorative iron work atop the gate, all in a line, mimics the structures along the horizon in the distance. You sly dog, C., you did that on purpose, didn't you?
