This is the 5th one of my series 'Brotherly Art', showing pictures of artworks created by a younger brother of mine.
The artworks are mostly painted on wooden panels by using either monochromatic or various colors of ordinary paint and depict all kind of different subjects.
PS: my brother wants to emphasize explicitly that the design of the artworks that has been and will be shown in this series are from his own hand, with the exception of this one. For this one he used a similar image, freely available on the internet, gave it his own interpretation, and painted it with ordinary black and white painting on a wooden panel.

I too have seen that other art work you referred to on the internet where the kitten is looking in a mirror and sees a tiger but I also like your brothers' original take as well and once again think he did a fabulous job in his style and depiction.
