In Zeeland, The Netherlands, farmers can get subsidy for sowing flowers-seeds along the edges of their fields.
So, a lot of acres in Zeeland were surrounded by flowers then (about three weeks ago).
This image shows one of these fields.

The farmers in my part of the world get subsidy for not farming parts of their land and letting it grow naturally SEA. I wished they would get something like this. The birds and butterfly population is suffering because of farming everything and bulldozing the brush to make room for more tillable land.
Your shot is beautiful and a reminder of how it should be. I like the composition with the curve in the road and the cyclists coming towards us.
