This retired 'very old salt' gave me permission (before his performance however, 😜 ) to capture this photograph. I was invited to sing along while he performed some shanties. I'm not a singer however, so my activity at this moment was reduced to photography.

A tad manic situation, hence it's my Manic Monday (Mē) contribution.

I wouldn't say manic, it's so cutely, I like it. Thanks for sharing, Cornelius.

You don't have to be a singer to sing sea shanties Cornelius. Nice shot of this old sea dog (if he truly is one) singing on the barge.

He looks right at home with the guitar and harmonica SEA. I suspect many days at sea gave him the opportunity to learn.
Cool angle and well done.

A nice character study Mr. C. - You should have joined just for the fun of it.

With my bit of knowledge of the guitar playing I'd say he is playing a G chord, one that is very popular in a lot of songs...would loved to have heard him sing...fabulous clarity and very entertaining post for MM.
