Due to the Covid-19 (Corona) pandemic, I can't go out for an outdoors photo shoot.

My alternative is to provide you with some photographs from the 'bin'.

This one is taken July, 2016 in front of a small tourist shop in Veere, a medieval little town at the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

There are no tourists/customers for the wooden tulips and wooden shoes/clogs now, because of the pandemic.

Take care, stay safe and healthy, my friends!

I thought they were real until, of course, I finished reading your narrative. Let's defeat this virus and get life back to the "normal" you see here, in 2016.

I also, like John, thought they were real. Anyway, they are so beautiful. Lovely capture, Cornelius. Stay safe and healthy.

That is everywhere so these days Cornelius. Small businesses are in deep trouble and do not know what to do. Government helps but not everybody is being looked after. Nice and colourful photo.

That is way cool work. Someone made those tulips out of wood...imagine that. They sure looked real from the photo. Had you not told me I would have assumed that they were real. Thanks for sharing this and your narrative, Cornelius. And of course, I'm saddened about the plight of business and workers.

I love the wooden tulips. Thanks for this reminder of colourful and beautiful things.
Tourism for many is perhaps never to be the same.
Stay safe Cornelius

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Lovely way to display those tulips, I'd go right over and buy a bouquet. Thanks for brightening the day.

I don't think I have ever seen a wooden tulip SEA. I have been missing out because they are beautiful.
What a wonderful display and your photo is just as wonderful.
Now to go find some wooden tulips. After it's safe of course.

Very colorful and they sure look real! I too am worried that some of our interesting small businesses will not survive this pandemic.
