This capture of a grey heron (Ardea cinerea) in flight was taken on one of my photo shoots not far from where I live.

In my country this bird is called a blue heron however.

Those blue herons are one of my favorites to photograph. This is a marvelous action shot, Cornelius, and the scenery is great for it. Good job.

We call it a blue heron as well SEA. You timing was very good. They are a nervous bird and don't stick around to converse.
