I like to continue the Bruges, Belgium, series with this one.
The image was taken at October 24th, 2021. Although pretty late in the tourists season, Bruges was still crowded by tourists. On the one hand too time consuming to clone them out. On the other hand and to my humble opinion, letting them in this capture is more representative for the cosy mood in this town.

While the absolute beauty of the scene is a bit tarnished by the tourists, perhaps a single woman (hey, I have idea of her marital status ;o) crossing the arch would have given the scene scale and the human pathos of a world in the grip of a deadly pandemic.

Such a beautiful scene Mr.C and I am so glad you left the people in the picture because if I'm not mistaken, I think I see my cousin on the bridge in the dark, blue hooded jacket!!:):):) .....maybe not:(:( What I do see is a great picture showing real life in that part of the/your world:):)
