Another pic from my 2004 trip to the Acores, Portugal. It was an overcast day in Faial when I took this of the windmills. Unfortunately, it came out a little grainy.
The B&W certainly helps depict the gloomy overcast day. The grain & the monotone grey makes the picture feel really old - like it was taken years ago before colour film. I actually find it a little depressing, so I'm very sorry but I won't be saving this one.
I'm not sure I like the black and white...I think that it takes away from the interest of the shot. Too bad about the grain too! Also, perhaps think about the composition...moving the camera so that there is less sky or more, to accent the windmills better. But interesting subject!
