From this past weekend's camping trip in Kananaskis Country (South-West of Calgary). This is the best shot of several attempts without a tripod, which is a must when taking shots of the moon. (Taken with my NEW Olympus E500 digital SLR. Also available in 4x3 ratio. Please comment if you would like the other version)

Very nice image, I think the star is planet Venus, because they stand beautiful together these days, and venus is very shiny!

Hey there,

Great shot, I really like the clarity. If your focus is the moon you need to show us more of it (all in my opinion of course :) ). I'm guessing this photo is an example of how long your lense is, but you can also crop it in photoshop and frame it accordingly. Just have fun with it :)

This was shot with my Zuiko Digital 150mm (300mm film equivilent) lens at full zoom. I originally cropped the photo but I wanted to create an image in an aspect ratio that would fit a widescreen monitor.
