The lighthouse is over 100 years old...and still looks pretty good! The view of the "Mighty Mac" from it is quite the sight.

Mackinaw City! Great place to visit and pig out on fudge and pastys. Did you also get digitals of Fort Michilimackinac and Fort Mackinaw on the island? Nice shot of the lighthouse as well -- it's going into my Appearances folder, thanks (I got my digital after I visited here so my shots aren't as nice as yours).

Great Picture of Old Mackinac Point lighthouse! Since it was turned into a living museum back sometime ago it is well maintained. If you look close at the light room one can see people standing inside, which is part of the tour. I like how you included the complete light/house and grounds surrounding the light along with the Mackinac straights in the background. Wonderful photo and thanks for sharing this one :)-- tim
