I had a pussy willow tree until the ice and snow storm of 10/29/2011 took it down along with some of my fruit trees. The tree was cut down and hauled to the woods about a month later. Yesterday, on my walk, I came across the poor willow lying on the ground, but it's branches were all covered with pussy willows!

Take your choice COG. You can have Jethro or The Grandmas give it last rites.
Good manip with PW's and the background.

Mine are just getting started Cindy. It is a bit early for them too, so not sure if they will draw in the usual flurry of honey bees. Nice shot here.

Looks like you should prune and replant it, Cindy Doesn't appear to be any the worse for wear, considering it's supposed to be dead.
Always liked those bushes/trees.

These are what I look forward to seeing in Spring. I dont have one of my own, but like to spot them in neighbours gardens. I cant resist feeling them to see how furry they feel. Lovely back ground colours in this Cindy too. Well done!

Oh, I love pussy willows!!! Such a great shot and work Cindy!!! We got rid of all our fruit trees. When we bought our house back in 1980 it had 6 apple trees! Now we don't have a single one. Al got tired of mowing over apples....lol

Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
