Better know as 'straw' flowers, perhaps. One of my favorites for preserving long after the harvest.

I love straw flowers - I use them in dry flower aranging that I do occasionally - this is a gorgeous capture.

I LOVE how the back flower is a little out of focus, which makes the front flower really pop out at you. Beautiful! Bye the way, did you know that there are some varieties of this flower that can cure MRSA staph? I know because an herbalist gave it to me once in organic olive oil and it worked! Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful picture!
