These baby robins are now stretching out fully, spreading their wings and preening. They are almost ready to fly the nest. Well, jump from the nest anyway. I hope I'm around when that happens.

I started to comment on the original version of "Almost Ready". I guess I should have waited until you posted a shot called, "Okay, Now I'm Ready" because the posting disappeared. Apparently you weren't really ready after all.
I'm amazed at the quality of this shot, Cindy. That lighting in the back would be enough to drive me nuts. I don't need any comments about not having to drive me very far; so keep your smart ass comments to yourself.
Great job keeping the noise to a minimum. Much better on the focus this time. I guess you're practically an expert by now at balancing on your step stool. My favorite part of the shot is the little beak poking straight up as if the little bird thinks that your camera has some chewed up worms for it.

This is a great capture of these chicks. Just go steady on that stool though, or you will be the one hitting the floor first before the chicks!!! Well done! Ann

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
