A pink flower spotted on my walk. It looks like a member of the pea family and I know it is a wildflower. Does anyone know its name?

Wonderful colour very well captured Cindy. No idea what they are called but all I can say is that they look great against that green background.

I don't think it is an orchid Cindy but does strongly resemble sweet peas - it's lovely with that nice backlighting.

Cindy, to me (honesty requires me to say that my wife has told me so, lol) it's a Lathyrus odoratus, aka Sweet pea.

Whether this is right or not, you have captured anyhow a splendid image!

Regards, Cornelius.

It looks like a Pinkaboo, COG. They try to look their best for folks with cameras. It did its job on this.

Lovely, maybe it's a ladyslipper. We have those here and they look similar. Nice photo.

A lovely clear shot Cindy. It is very pretty, and the slight vignetting adds impact to the image.

I think it is a wild pea - Restharrow (Ononis repens)
