From Lake George. The funny thing about this image is that when I reviewed it on the camera (Canon G11), it was about postage stamp size on the LCD and the camera said it could not magnify the image. When I pulled the image up in PS, I was told that the image was corrupt in some way, did I want to use it anyway. As you can see I used it anyway.

I sure don't know what that was all about, but I was happy to see that I didn't lose the shot entirely.

That is weird Cindy but perhaps it was something like our computers, and how they can act. I will say too that this rescued image is very good, I really like the lower angle of this shot, and the stop action you managed so well. Tigs♥ =^..^=

I don't see any sign of corruption - crystal clear details on the jet skiers and good detail even on the far shore - love that water spray.

What I would have gave to had one of those when I was young. The fastest water toy we had was a blown up inner tube. With lots of patches on it also, not a New One. LOL.

You hear people say "Back in the Good Old Days". Well I've got news for you. Today is the GOOD OLD DAYS, especially if your young.

Although I don't prefer this way of 'sailing' (lol), you've captured a very good action shot, Cindy.

Like to use the opportunity to say thanks to E. J. for his funny, but true comment.

Regards, Cornelius.

It sounds like something was disturbed while the camera/computer was writing the file to the card.Right Click on the original picture file and Click on Properties from the drop/down menu. Then check the size of the file. With your G11 set for Large jpegs the size should be in the 5Mgb + or - range.
If it's way down to Kbs size, that's what probably happened.
It's a nice action shot. Maybe a bit too bright to show all the detail in the jetski wake.
