Worked up so many versions of this Iris and you guessed it, this is version number 13.

I am hurrying to post this as it is 2:11 in the afternoon and the sky has gone dark and the heavens are rumbling. Already lost power once for about 10 seconds. Hopefully, the clouds will be distressed and full enough to release some of their moisture on us. I see the temp has already dropped from 92 degrees here in Wales where it is usually a few degrees cooler than the cities because of our elevation, to 89 F. and I do believe I can hear the pitter patter of rain falling all around. How long it lasts is anyone's guess, but even with the lighting and thunder, it is most welcomed.

Addendum: It is now pouring buckets, like the clouds just couldn't contain themselves any longer! Wonderful! I won't be watering the garden this evening!

It's a beautiful conception, Cindy. The Iris just seems too light, even though it may be dead accurate. I certainly haven't seen many variations. Your 3D presentation is lovely.
It may be the matching deeper color frame that's causing the effect.

I think thirteen is 'unlucky'...for you anyhow, but lucky for that we download it all!

I think your presentation of this beauty is outstanding, I heard a slight rumble of thunder, but only got a few drops of rain, it just keeps teasing us around here. The farmers are starting to mow down the corn, what a sad waste. =^..^=tigs

I have heard of rain dances but not rain photo posts COG. You probably could rent this Iris out to some farmers.

It is a beautiful iris and you seem to have given it the right treatment in trial no.13 because it looks so good. The framing looks very nice too.

We had some thunder and that was it , not a drop of rain .
Still very hot, humid and dry. Like Sandi said the farmers in Indiana are in serious trouble . To late for the corn crop , still hope for the soy beans and the hay crop.
I like the treatment you gave the Iris and the framing is gorgeous. Nice work, Cindy.
