I uploaded this once and it looked washed out. So I took it back to CS5 and over saturated it (so I thought). On the second upload to this site, the image now looks like my original. What's with that? I uploaded a PNG file.
For me this version looks fine, sharp, good color, as not washed out (that sky looks wonderful). Kind of well timed that we both posted horse pics. Lol! Tigs♥ =^..^=
My images are always uploaded in the PNG format, Cindy. When I compare however my original PNG image with the one on Caedes, I see a loss of quality (mainly details), probably because of the conversion by Caedes to the JPG-format. It's even worse when I upload in the JPG-format. Uploading in the PNG-format rather than the JPG-format will however reduce the loss of quality.
Honesty requires me to say that I can't remember the original image. Probably it has't impressed me that much to remember it, perhaps because it was washed out too. It's on the contrary now however with this rework. It's that fine for me that I've decided to S+F it. Thanks for reworking and reposting this great post.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
It looks perfect to me Cindy and a lovely country image. I especially like the swishing tail :)
I upload in .png unless the file is extra large but have to say I never notice any difference in quality between the file types when they appear here except they are often a bit paler regardless of what format.. Towards the end of the month if I am nearing my bandwidth limit I do jpegs.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
The detail on That musculature is Outstanding, Cindy... and On that Tail!!! The colors Look great on the Grasses, Barn, and Sky, according to My eyes! Brilliant composition, as Well!
Some people have Gurus, I have my camera.
