this pic shows off 200mm f/2.8 bokeh pretty well. sorry all about that one blurry branch in the bottom middle, but i didnt want to disturb too much stuff. this was taken on the same hike as "SenTree", just at a much lower elevation.

I must say this really does look like some animal that is 2000 years old that doesn't move very fast. I like the color in this one, and the background looks cool and i can't think of anything that looks bad, so i will leave it at that.

Great capture. I like the colour palette very much it is so much in autumn colours. I wonder how would the photo look like if you took it from a distance so that we could see trees in the background. Congratulations.

Nice.

Like the vertical lines in the background that form, they give some nice contrast to the 'disorder' in the microcosm that you captured so well. And, oh ... the colours ... I agree with the above comments, so nice.

Would be interested in seeing more. As a suggestion, and I don't know if it is possible, wouldn't want to lose those 'lines,' however ... a rotation to the left and a more hmm, vertical perspective? Play with the depth of field? Just a thought. This is such an incredibly detail rich shot.

Nice work.

The earthy colours just pop in this one! Talk about life where we cant even see it with the regular eyes!...but with a camera, look what can be done! This is gorgeous!
