It was pretty windy up here, you can see the snow blowing off the top of the mountains. this was taken with my new sigma at 10mm. im really impressed with how little flare there was, you can hardly see it :)

This one would be stronger if that tree wasn't in the forground right there in the middle. I think the tree woudl be good if you placed it in one of the corners though. Anyways, this is a good shot. The sky looks really good. When did you take this one?

This is so gorgeous! I love the snow blowing off the top of the mountain. What mountain range is this? I love how there are NO footprints to be seen..just the magic of nature. I hope you had friends with you...its such a dramatic place to be all alone. I do agree with Milo tho about that one tree. But to me its such a small thing to be critical of...that it doesnt matter much to me. I love how the snow cups around the base of that tree, showing the depth. So , to me, the big tree is there, and then some medium trees, and then the small ones in the distance, showing the progressiveness of them. I just think this a very magnificient photo! Congrats...verena

This is a great shot! I like the trees at various distances in the foreground of those gorgeous mountains! The all around atmosphere of the picture is great.
Great job :)

i posted this one cuz of the tree there, a pure snowwy forground gets a little boring in some of the other ones so i went for this one cuz its different, not necessarily great. this was taken skiing with Tim, on feb 4/06.

I love mountains and this pic is of a particularly impressive one. The clouds in the blue sky really set off the snow on the mountain. I like it.

It looks so picturesque. In fact I am going to the mountains in a couple of days. I hope I will have such a good weather like you had. What I like most about the photo are the leading lines (like the mountain slope) which make me concentrate on the trees in the background.

Very nice image. Clean and criiiisp. Looks like the camera and the operator (artist) are working well.

Absolutely pure and breathtakingly beautiful. I like how the mountains and the sky just flow together and I like how you placed the tree. It is quite a bit different from most snowy mountain images. I like it in the foreground. Well done. Thanks :~)

it is this pure and, at the same time, fasionate way of a good photographer with the delicate sense what is good or not!
Excellent.

Untouched nature. Marvelous. These types of photos in your gallery tend to be your best in my opinion.

I really like the tree in the foreground. It brings your eye to the mountains while following it to the others. Great work. Where was it taken at?
