i dont know if this meadow is prettier in the winter or summer, the snow looks kinda neat how its melted over the stream....

very nice detailing and composition. not normally a fan of blown out highlights in sky but it seams to suit this image well. a fine photo indeed.

Carl did yu take the trees out of this one? The other pic like this had a lot of trees. I loved how they looked, they gave kind of a depth to the whole thing. Altho I like this just as well, with the "grooves" of snow..or did you just take the shot from a different spot? I love them both...

these shots are from different spots, this one was taken probably 100m further up the meadow where the stream was a bit more prominent. that would have been quite a photoshop job to do that ;)

It's amazing how some pictures, when left untouched, can look magificent anyway. This one meets that criteria.
