alot of alpine skiiers make their way up into that glacier you see at the end of the valley to ski during the summer. Right now the better tracks (and no crevases) are found where we went: over the pass. I find with the 10mm lens i get pretty bad flare (i used 3-4 layers to reduce it in this shot) if i put it close to the center of the frame, yet if i put it in the corner its really minimal flare, you'd think it would be the other way around

That’s a fabulous photo Carl. It would have been beautiful without the flaming flare, which has added so much drama and impact. Excellent and you get a well deserved 10.

You can practically feel the cold by just looking at the picture. The clarity is amazing and I love the snow in the foreground. Great job. 10/10 from me and the newest addition to my favorites

This is quite an awe inspiring scene you've captured here. Majestic and serene down to the little sparkles in the untouched snow. I'm curious to see what it looked like before the layers to reduce the glare which turned out fantastic as well.
