I'll show you some other pictures, the sky was totally overcast except for about 30degrees of the sky directly west, which only allowed about 15 minutes of light through before the sunset. We'd just had a light drizzle as the shower casting the amazing rainbow passed us to the east, just as the sun peeked through the cloud canopy. and voila, neat light on the land from the low angle light & a bright double-rainbow.

Wish I could find it in the voting booth. But surprisingly it is very seldom that I come across some great captures. I have never seen such a neon bright rainbow, sorry- double rainbow. Was it just a coincidence or you have planned this session basing on the weather forecast?

the rainbow was a fluke, looking at the sky for 3 hours before the sun set i knew it was going to be good, but i never expected a rainbow, i've never seen one accompanying a sunset before
