In the middle of a 2 week canoe trip on the Churchill River in Saskatchewan, which is characterized in my memory by rainy portages over, under, & around burnt out forests, there were some amazing times like this. That's my brother, fishing for Pike & Walleye, after we just paddled across a wicked crosswind on a big lake, to this point where we made camp.

What a beautiful shot, Carl. The colors here are so deep and the expression on your brother's face is one that I often get while fishing..."aren't they EVER going to bite?" LOL....hope you had a great time and if for no other reason I'm glad you went and took this pic.

I'm 18 and don't travel much. But I tend to bring my camera around just to catch what sticks out from my everyday goings. *~* Gallery *~*
