our homemade summer entertainment, 5 minutes walking from our house :) that rope is tied to a tree on the shore, and i've got some shoes screwed down to the board

the river's not actually flowing THAT fast, only about 6-7 km/h. what allows us to do more dramatic moves is the 200+ feet of 1/4 inch nylon rope which we use. this gives us about 6-8 feet of stretch, which when released allows you to move at an aditional 5-10 km/h upriver!
