Before the city awakes...not your usual picture postcard, yet the view the average visitor sees.

What is the tower on the hill? Nice photo, by the way.

If you can believe it, this photo was taken with my hand outside the window of the Holiday Inn (13th floor) on Kearney St.

There is a reason they put an "off" button on these things, you know...

Gosh Frisco is a gorgeous city, but this just shows how NOT to pile on the houses!!! A bit scarey! But such an interesting shot you took....different..for sure...the light is perfect at that time of day..wow

Hmm, this is a great shot but that white canvas in the construction in the lower left corner is a bit distracting.

Or perhaps the covering is what makes it unique and real. I like the angles the streets make and I love the rock poking through - you can't completely conceal nature underneath. And its pretty crisp.

I love this picture - something about the quality of the lighting really captures the warmth that I feel San Francisco emanates. Then again, maybe I'm just irrationally identifying with my birthplace :P

Excellent capture. The way you've framed the hill naturally drew my eyes towards the center of the picture. You've also got a nice bottom-top progression of colors - warmer tones at the bottom with the deep blue sky at the top and a clean transition between them.
