When I first got a tripod years ago the first thing I did was to take it out the next morning to the back of my property which bordered the Nooksack river where there was a guy fishing. This picture from that session has turned out to be one of my favorites. I've messed with it a bit in ArtMaster Pro which I think is an incredible program and highly recommend. The picture is actually naturally very blue due to the early morning low sun. I think that after the Artmaster treatment it looks almost like an evening shot.

Gee I like this. Especially the way you handled the specular highlights. Which give it a magical / mystery touch. Though I think they could be a wee bit brighter. It has a wonderful mood and feel to it.

That’s going into my favourites.

Sailorman - The nooksack is in northern Washington state. It runs off of Mt. Baker and this was about halfway between Baker and Bellingham.

This is a dreamlike and great piece of photography Darrell. The lowlight blue and the haze moving through the trees make this a great shot. Good work.

Oh-h, I really like this! You've brought such a mood to it with the blues. The little fisherman amidst the enormity of nature makes one feel quite small in the scheme of things. But your talent isn't small! Excellent work! A keeper for sure.

I'm 17 and don't travel much. But I tend to bring my camera around just to catch what sticks out from my everyday goings. (pardon me if I speak my mind) *~* Gallery *~*

No. The journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path. One that we all must take. The grey-rain curtain of this world rolls back, and all will turn to silver glass. And then you see it. White shores and beyond. The far green country unto a swift sunrise.
