Another misty shot from Washington state - funny how that works, isn't it? This is in Fort Worden near the beach at Port Townsend on the Olympic Peninsula - just a ways from where I live. The fog made everything pretty much monochromatic that day anyway so I kinda sepia toned this one a bit.

Nice... really gives the feel of thick, thick fog.

Great shot, nicely framed and the sepia is just the right amount. Good exposure too. The image is flat but I really like how it works here; complements the subject well.
Nice work!

This is a great effect you've created. I can feel the fog on my skin! Excellent composition.

Even though on first inspection it seems that the image appears flat, when viewed at the higher resolution, I get the sense of depth because of the differing intensities of the fog around the different objects. And not just each individual object, but within any given one itself. I love this...couldya tell? :)PJ

Interesting comments. Thanks all. I guess that the shapes of the trees were what really interested me. Having a lot of other stuff behind them would have distracted from that I think, so I was glad to have the fog fill in. Good to hear other people's thoughts and ideas.
