This stick sits in the shallow end of Pink Lake, Gatineau Park, Quebec, Canada. The bottom, which is visible low in the frame, is covered with silt and debris from the algal bloom which turns Pink Lake a mint green colour for much of the summer.

What a really beautiful sight, and a great capture of it, perfectly composed imho :-) It's haunting. Must have been beautiful to have been there.

It was a great day (yesterday); very calm around the lake which sits in a stone bowl. I will post a summer shot of the lake itself soon.

This is a really cool picture. I really like how you made a stick in water look good

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.

Great reflection! This practically looks like the stick was normally like that! Great capture!

Beautifully composed. The visible bottom is just as dramatic, if not more so than the reflection.
