Ottawa, Canada, in late April 2006. It's tulip time again here and this year the newly restored library of Parliament (the conical structure adjacent to the Centre Block) is revealed.
Being a westerner, I always wondered why they called it Parliament Hill. Never saw a image quite like this. Personally, I would either include more of the tree or crop or clone it out. Nice color and clarity...good capture:-)
Nice shot .... Tulips are gorgeous .... I was just up there this past Sat ..Weather was not the best ... I was planning on getting some shots that day but the weather did not co-operate .. Tulip festical was this past weekend as well .. Hopefully I will get up there again sometime soon ... perhaps a trip to Byward Market for the Buskers ..
Great contrasts in color, substance and surfaces. It moves and breaths...There's so much interest and beauty here. Great shot. I'd hang it on my wall.
Postcard. Poster. Photomug. Everywhere. I could look at this all day long. Great shot!
