Great close up, focus point is good. Although, it seems like there's something missing? Perhaps a bit more contrast or tone, some of the reds in the flower blend in together making it hard to distinguish. Just a thought, great job, waiting to see more of your work!

Good sharp focus & nicely composed, though I agree with "Canuck_Photo_Guy" the reds are too harsh in the background.

wow that is amazing. i think the red in the background is great. i love that the fuzzy things on the end are just a little out of focus. it makes it really interesting... it's gorgeous.

Very good photo. Those little fuzzy things at the end are always hard to judge because they are fuzzy regardless if they are in focus or not. I like how your dof encompasses the entire end of the stamen but then pretty much stops. Nice colors in this too.
