This picture of the Tennessee Valley Railroad train was taken just south of Chickamauga, Georgia in October 2005. I was driving to Chickamauga when the train suddenly appeared going in the opposite direction. I turned around and got ahead of it to take this and other pictures.

A great capture.... the clarity & detail is wonderful. I love these old trains, but the only time I see them is along the Mississippi. I like how you captured the steam coming out also. Excellent first post & Welcome to Caedes, Dennis. Can't wait to see more.

This came up on the front page and caught my eye. I love steam trains. I am certainly glad you turned around to get his shot. Hopefully, you have posted some more pics of this train. For being in a hurry, you did a find job of capturing this train clearly and sharply. It's a perfect post. So is the perspective and angle.
