It's pretty nice here in North Dakota today, Jelly. November 19th and a high of 45 degrees. A beautiful late fall day. Gorgeous weather for pre-Thanksgiving. My brother used to live in Hollywood, Florida, and told me once on the phone that it had gotten real chilly the night before... down to 68! When he was telling me this, close to Christmas about 25 years ago, the temp outside was 75 degrees below zero (not typical, believe me). I had just tried to pick up a plastic pail outside and it literally exploded in my glove. I'm trying to conceive of a temperature that would keep Floridians off the beach. Your excellent photo makes it look toasty warm.
Ok, lemme see, just where does this photo speak of winter?? Not a speck that I can see! Here in Oregon last Winter we had two and a half feet of snow...a bit of snow on the beach even, but wow, this wonderful photo of yours does NOT speak of Winter!!lol
I love the depth of the photo, the curve of the beach and how it flows right into where the city is.The Floridians don't go to the beach in the Winter? WHy not???!! WE do it here. Anytime is great, whether windy, snowing, raining or whatever, loving this beach is always there..But I do like your photo very much. Lovely colours. And I LOVE love love the WHITE sand!! I still have a bottle full of that stuff, even tho I wasn't supposed to take it..lol...that was 30 yrs ago, and I still have it!!! yayyyyyy Verena
Beautiful capture.
