This photo is very special to me. It may look like just a little lake -- the one near my house that I have photographed many times. In fact, it may even be the same view that I have posted here before. But this photo contains a little something special. To oversimplify in the extreme, I'd like to just call it "inspiration." I hope some small sampling of the joy I felt when I took this shines through. If it doesn't, so be it. I felt it just the same. ;) Thanks to all who view and comment.

I do....and I know exactly what you mean. Something that just makes you smile when you're all by yourself and you say.....man that's beautiful and look around wanting to show it to someone else. :) I'm smiling now. Very nice Donna, a small piece of heaven right here on earth. +fav

This is gorgeous. No wonder you spend time there. I assume by the title that this lake is spring fed. That always makes for such pretty water. This is a keeper. i really like the touches of rust colored duckweed on the surface of the water.

I really enjoy hearing from my caedes friends.
Well it couldn't have been a prettier day if you'd ordered it. Those blues are simply killer! The lighting is really special too. I would be most pleased with this image had I taken it. I see why it inspired you. I love all the different textures in here too.

To me it looks (and feels) as if the wind is gently playing with the water and clouds in a most "artistic" and beautiful way ,hope that makes sense at all:)
