Perhaps the second most famous bridge in the world? ;) The first day we were in Florence it rained. I'm glad I went back a second day so I could get this shot. Thanks to all who view and comment.
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. :-)................ MY GALLERY - THE LION****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOMEPAGE

I never tire of seeing this bridge. There is so much life on it, around it...I'd love to see it for myself someday, but in the meantime, I'll just enjoy the views my friends take of this lovely piece of architecture and smile :)
Fantabulous shot, Donna! I love this. The skies have cleared and we can see bridges upon bridges, which only makes sense in a city built on water. I love the rooftops and I especially love all the people that can be seen standing on the bridge. I really love this shot!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I have seen this bridge before of cource, but never from this angle, and i like it a lot, specialy since it shows several bridges after eachother.
But it remains a strange bridge hey :-)
My comments will be hit and miss for the next month or so. I'm preparing to return to the U.S. on 1 Aug and will be on vacation until 20 Aug or so...I will be checking though and I look forward to your great shots! L8R...G8R
Interesting image. I love how the buildings and houses are built over the water. Wonder how much a home on the bridge costs and how they get utilities? Thanks for this great view.
