the most incredible building I have ever seen, and I still remember it vividly. great detail shot Donna. How come the colors are different on your photo? The colors on my photo are not the same as yours? did they paint it?

Eric, the colors are marble, not paint. But I think they did clean the front recently.

an unusual angle on this one with barely any hint of perspective allowing the viewer to concentrate instead on the intricacies of the masonry.best wishes,simon.

Last May I take some pictures of the Duomo but the probleme were always the same - we have no space to do a picture whith the entire magestic building. You agree with me Dona?
