I found this olive tree in a planter outside a church in Lucignano, Italy. I kinda liked the way it looked in front of the brick and stone. Thanks to all who view and comment.

You are so right about the form and the colors! I bet they knew that and put it there for that reason too. They certainly have a great eye there for color. Wonderful shot, Donna!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Donna, to me the bricks make this images, because without bricks there was no contrast, colour and texture. You've have seen this perfectly, by capturing this image that way. Very well done! Regards, Cornelius
I just had to drop by and let you know that I saved this one immediately, Donna. It's such a classic view, but with a fresh approach and new elements..You've done an excellent job, as far as I'm concerned. :)

I thought I would see a typical sign of the south, but I have never seen a baby before. It will take a lot of years, till it brings quality oil, but it looks really nice.
