Hello friends, long time! Sorry for my long absence, but as it turns out the hard drive failure was only the precurser for a much larger failure in my life. Don't worry, I'm doing just fine and I hope to be able to spend a little more time here in the relatively near future. I took this shot a few weeks ago on a weekend trip to the high sierra camps of Yosemite. This is one fork of the Lyell River, taken near Tuolumne Meadows. Thanks to all who view and comment.

I like what this photo says. It's telling us that the water (life source) originates in the mountains and goes through many rough falls, bends in the river and stagnant pools along the way, but eventually it will look like the picture. Still flowing towards its destination and even purer because of the journey. Great photo. Welcome back.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . G'day DJ,
This is a great contrast to the normal river scene with all the jumble of rocks and crags. The quietness of this scene is cool and the way you've composed it enhances that quality.
