My mom took this of me jumping off a dock, attempting to catch a football (I, of course, caught it). Added the black and white effect and liked the way the lake and house in the background look.

You know ... I like the B & W effect as well.
Now the harsh part ... clone yourself out, crop some of the foreground water ... and I think you have a highly interpretative image. It has atmosphere and a 'feel' for me; the look and captured memory of being 'at the lake.'
Still a fun shot.

Wow, really cool. I like it will yourself in it, but it could be nice without you in it too. Might be better to have a bigger size (you know the people of Caedes, picky, picky, picky) Otherwise, tell your mom she took a great shot and you did great on adding effects.
