Thoreau's Cove on Walden Pond. --

"All change is a miracle to contemplate; but it is a miracle which is taking place every instant."    -- Henry David Thoreau

2007/12/16 -- Correction --

The stranger in a strange land (me) missed the identification of location. This is actually Wyman's Meadow adjacent to Thoreau’s Cove of Walden Pond. Because of rains, the meadow is flooded , leaving a small land bridge between these bodies. I took this photo from the land bridge.

Beautiful photo of a beautiful and interesting place. I've been there and seen Thoreau's cabin location and the reconstructed simple cabin. The book is also a favorite of mine. Thanks for posting and jogging some good memories!
